Registration

The preregistration to Takapotku 2009 has opened. If you wish to participate, please send mail to janne.nikula@iki.fi where you state your

• Name
• Rank
• Club or country
• Discounts to entry fee (e.g. if you are a junior player)

Additionally you may wish to mention if you need help with getting accommodation.

The preregistered players are tracked in the Finnish go wiki. If you read Finnish or you have a Finnish friend, you can edit the wiki directly.

Note that the actual registration takes place in the tournament venue before the tournament opens.

Entry fees

The regular entry fee is 20 euros. We give the following discounts:

• 10 euro discount for double-digit kyu players
• 5 euro discount for juniors (players under 18)
• 5 euro discount for local players who provide accommodation for at least two players

The discounts are cumulative, e.g. a double-digit kyu junior player pays only five euros.

Early payment

You can pay the tournament fee when you arrive at the tournament venue or you can pay it in advance. If you wish to pay in advance, Finnish residents may transfer money to the account
